Sunshine, good vibes, great wine and a little friendly competition - The Big Picnic at Buller Wines is back and bigger than ever.
Pack your picnic rug, gather your crew and settle in on the lawns for a relaxed day of wine, beer and summer fun. We’ll have the drinks flowing, plenty of space to sprawl out, and that unbeatable long-weekend energy we all love.
This year, we’re turning things up with an official Cornhole Tournament, hosted in partnership with the Border Baggers Cornhole League. With just 20 teams competing in a round-robin format, spots are limited and bragging rights are very much on the line.
1st Prize: 2 nights accommodation in our Vineyard View Suites* & $200 wine or gin voucher
2nd Prize: $250 wine or gin voucher
The Lucky Duck (first team to lose): A bottle of wine on us
Most Creative Team Name: $100 wine or gin voucher

*2 nights accommodation can be split between 2 people, e.g. two team members can book two cabins for one night. Subject to availability.

Can I bring food?
Yes! BYO Picnics are welcomed.
Do I have to pay to attend The Big Picnic?
The Big Picnic is a free event for anyone to attend. Cornhole registration is $20 per team.
Are kids welcome?
Absolutely! Kids are more than welcome. they are also welcome to participate in Cornhole if they're keen on bragging rights!
Can I bring drinks?
No. The Big Picnic is strictly no BYO drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
What's the go with Cornhole Team Registration?
20 teams will battle it out for the top prize.
Each team will consist of pairs - make sure you have your team registered and a team name given.
Cornhole Registration is $20 per team, which includes 2 drink cards and your entry into Cornhole.
Pre-registration is highly recomended as there are only a few spots available and may not be any space left on the day.

How will the Cornhole Competition work?
20 teams will battle it out, Sudden Death Elimination Round Robin style. The first rounds will first to 15, with the 'final rounds' first to 21.
