Rare Cask Aged Whisky Cocktails

The best ways to drink our Rare Cask Aged Whisky are neat, on the rocks or with a splash of blood orange soda. However, get your creative flare going with the below cocktails!

Blood Orange Sour

60mL Rare Cask Aged Whiskey

30mL ounce blood orange juice

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon simple syrup

Orange to garnish

Add ice to cocktail shaker.

Pour the whiskey, blood orange juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup over the ice. Cover and shake vigorously about 20 seconds or until frost forms.

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and decorate with a cherry and an orange slice.

Whisky Sour

60ml Rare Cask Aged Whisky

35ml lemon juice

2 teaspoons sugar syrup

2 dashes bitters

½ egg white

Lemon zest and orange to garnish

Shake all of the ingredients (except for the lemon zest) hard with ice and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.

Squeeze the lemon zest, shiny side down over the drink so the scented oils spray across the surface.

Discard the zest, add the garnish and serve.

Mint Julep

65ml Rare Cask Aged Whisky

Handful of mint leaves & a sprig to garnish

12ml sugar syrup

Ice (cubes & crushed is great!)

Shake the whisky, mint leaves and sugar syrup with ice cubes and strain into a highball glass filled with crushed ice. Stir gently with a long-handled spoon and top with more crushed ice. Garnish with mint.
